These pages depict the end of the story “The Ape and her young” and its application. The Mother Ape demonstrated favoritism and in the end, killed her favorite child in an attempt to save it, while the hated one escaped danger. These pages also depict the “Crow and Pitcher,” where Crow drops pebbles in a pitcher of water in order to raise the water level and drink it, the application stating we should not be discouraged, regardless of impossibilities.
