These pages depict the end of the application of the “Lion and Mouse,” tell the tale and application of “Eagle and Tortoise”, and begin the tale of “Ape and her young.” In the Eagle and Tortoise, the Tortoise begs the Eagle to teach him how to fly. Despite the Eagle explaining that this is against nature, Eagle took Tortoise into the air and then dropped him to his death. The application of this story is to understand limitations and consequences of unnatural actions.
