This is an illustrated ABC and primer book. The first alphabet section includes two historiated woodcut letters per page. The second alphabet section includes 4 illustrative cuts of alphabet letters per page, with vocabulary words for each respective letter, except X and Z. All pages have a decorative border. The alphabet sections are separated by a series of alphabet charts showing all uppercase and lowercase letters of the Roman alphabet, as well as uppercase and lowercase italic letters. The second alphabet section is followed by moral lessons.
