These pages show the stories “Oak and Willow” and “Old and Young Crab.” “Oak and Willow is told in full, along with its application. The story tells of a controversy between a brittle Oak and flexible Willow. When a storm comes, the Willow is able to bend and flex with the wind, but the Oak was torn up. The application stating how man must choose between bending and breaking. Page 43 begins the story of “Old and Young Crab."
