This story tells how Little Red Riding Hood goes to bring her sick grandmother some cookies, gets distracted by various flora and fauna, and narrowly escapes being eaten by a wolf. In this telling, neither the grandmother nor Little Red are eaten.
The illustration on page 17 shows Grandmother, Little Red, and the woodsman eating cookies and drinking tea.
